Aligning with the theoretical component, this practicum will allow the advanced practice nurse to apply theoretical concepts to the care of adults, older adults, and families from various cultures and ethnicities. There will be an emphasis on understanding and considering social determinants of health, racial equity, and justice into the care and health outcomes of the population.
