PAS 702: Anatomy Lab & Medical Imaging

Description

The course consists of the dissection of virtual cadavers presenting the structures of the thorax, abdomen, pelvis, back, upper and lower limbs, and head & neck. This course covers fundamentals of medical imaging, offering hands-on and practical applications of knowledge gained from the Human Anatomy and Human Physiology courses in clinical decision making. Imaging approaches covered include; (i) Radiologic Imaging, (ii) MRI, and (iii) CT scans. Students utilize imaging modalities to identify normal anatomy as studied in gross dissections.
