Fundamentals of the Physician Assistant Profession I course provides an introduction to the profession. An interdisciplinary faculty will provide lectures and lead conversations on various aspects of health care, including such topics as: the history of the PA profession, professional organizations, state of the profession, legislation and regulation, quality of care, and current controversies within the profession.
