Fundamentals of the Physician Assistant II: Advanced Clinical Skills provides an introduction to advanced clinical skills. Students learn telemedicine skills as well as casting and splinting, advanced suturing, and hands-on bedside ultrasound. Students will build upon their foundation of Basic Life Support (BLS) through online learning as well as hands-on instruction and simulated cases designed to help in the recognition and treatment of cardiopulmonary arrest following acute arrhythmia, stroke, and acute coronary syndromes.
