This is an intermediate level laboratory course that emphasizes performing selected experiments in electromagnetism, optics, atomic, nuclear and condensed matter physics. The purpose of this course is to introduce students to proper laboratory skills in data collection, analysis and reporting as well as giving them hands-on knowledge of experiments and ideas which revolutionized the field of physics. Prerequisites: PHYS 306. (F;S)
