This course will examine the neuroscientific bases for cognition and higher mental functions. Topics will include memory, attention, spatial and visual functions, language, decision making, social cognition, psychopathology, brain development and plasticity, generalized cognitive disorders, and the application of cognitive neuroscience methods to real world situations.
