The focus of this course will be to explore the phenomenon of language and learning disabilities from the school-age to the adolescent populations. The emphasis will be placed upon the fundamental principles in the theoretical basis, growth patterns and deficits identified these populations. Family ecology multricultural assessments, differential diagnosis, the diagnostic process, report writing, and intervention strategies along with clinical and educational efficacy and best practice service delivery models are also explored.
