This course covers mathematical, statistical, and computational approaches in statistical learning techniques including deep learning methods. Topics include dimension reduction, regularization, neural network algorithms, and parallel computing. Student will learn a wide range of applications in science, business, and medicine using contemporary programming tools. Prerequisite: STAT 328. (F;S;SS)
