This course introduces fundamental concepts of data science and analytics needed to collect, manipulate, visualize, model, and interpret data. Students will use open-source data analytic tools - either R or Python - to perform various tasks of the data analysis workflow. Topics covered will include data acquisition, wrangling, and visualization, statistical inference, and statistical and machine learning modeling techniques. Prerequisite: Graduate Standing. (F;S;SS)
