This course emphasizes the integration of the logistics functions with the operations of the firm through the planning and controlling of the materials flow ito achieve the desired levels of operating efficiency and customer service throughout the supply chain. The activities of planning, scheduling, materials requirements planning, capacity management, and production activity control are integrated with issues of inventory control and distribution.
