Nasser Sadeghkhani is an Assistant Professor of Statistics at North Carolina A&T State University. Before joining NC A&T in 2024, he served as an Assistant Professor of Teaching and Practice in Statistics at The Ohio State University (2022–2023) and as an Assistant Professor at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México, ITAM (2019–2021). He completed postdoctoral fellowships at Queen’s University (2017–2018) and Brock University (2018–2019) after earning a Ph.D. in Statistics from the Université de Sherbrooke (2017). His research centers on Bayesian statistics, predictive inference for discrete and multivariate count data, and symbolic data, with applications in ecology, climatology, and sports.
