Biography

Dr. Balu Gokaraju is a Professor of Computational Data Science and Engineering Department, and Associate Director of Visualization and Computation Advancing Research (ViCAR) Center, at North Carolina A&T State University. He directs the research with a team of thirty junior faculty, post-docs, program managers, business staff and graduate students in the topics: AI & Computer Vision research in Autonomous Vehicles Navigation; Digital Twin solutions of Hybrid Autonomous Manufacturing for Industry 4.0; education, research and workforce development in Clean Energy Sectors. His eight years of full-time research experience includes service in various national labs including NASA-GODDARD Space and Flight Center, Center for Advanced Vehicular Systems and Indian Space Research Organization.
