Professor Acree brings over 20 years of combined industry and academic experience to the lab, providing students with valuable hands-on learning opportunities in engineering. He is passionate about guiding high-performance student teams, working closely with them on innovative projects such as the Baja SAE and SAE AutoDrive II engineering competition teams. Professor Acree’s extensive background enables him to mentor students, fostering their success as they tackle real-world challenges and develop practical engineering skills. His dedication to student achievement, paired with his diverse experience, ensures that students are well-prepared for future careers in engineering.
