Biography
Dr. Darien Maurice Wellman was born in Sanford, North Carolina on January 18, 1992. He and his family moved to Goldston, North Carolina where he has resided since 1996. After high school, he attended Campbell University between August 2010 and June 2014, where he obtained his bachelor's degree in history. After completing college, he went on to attend North Carolina Central University between August 2014 and December 2016 to obtain his master's degree in history in 2016. In July of 2018, he accepted the position of adjunct history instructor at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (NCAT), where he is currently employed. Dr. Wellman earned his Ph.D. in Leadership Studies and title of doctor in December of 2024 from NCAT.
