Biography

I am an applied economist passionate about teaching and advising students through a value-based philosophy. My research investigates how institutional rules and organizational strategies shape labor markets, athlete compensation, and community outcomes, with a particular focus on the NBA and WNBA. I also study the broader financial implications of sports facilities and their connections to local communities and banks. I see economics as both a rigorous analytical framework and a tool for meaningful societal impact, and I strive to integrate these perspectives into everything I do as a scholar and educator.
