Biography
Forrest Foster serves as the Assistant Dean of Library Services at North Carolina A&T State University, where he has been a driving force in academic librarianship for more than two decades. His career reflects a sustained commitment to leadership, community engagement, and the advancement of information and digital literacy across higher education, and provides strategic guidance in library operations, renovations and spaces, while also guiding the library liaison program, which supports faculty and student research, library scholarly initiatives, and liaison development.
His current research and engagement interests focuses on the impact of libraries on student retention and academic performance, accentuating faculty research, experiential learning through digital and information literacy, mentorship and closing the digital divide to promote access for all.
