Biography
Guibing Chen earned his Ph.D. degree in Agricultural and Biological Engineering from Purdue University and his M.S. and B.S. degrees in Chemical Engineering from Dalian University of Technology in China. After completing his Ph.D., he continued his postdoctoral training at the same university. Prior to joining the faculty of North Carolina A&T State University in February 2010, he worked as a thermal processing engineer at ConAgra Foods. His current research focuses on functional food processing and microbial modeling.
