Biography

I have worked at university libraries for over 42 years. I started as a Federal Work-Study student in 1983 at CWRU in Cleveland, OH. In 1985, I started working full-time at CWRU University Libraries and left there at the end of 1992. I worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Kent State University Libraries in 1993 as I finished my MLIS.
I have been at North Carolina A&T State University for over 32 years. Hired in 1994, my first position was Evening Librarian. I was tenured as an Assistant Professor in 2004, promoted to Head of Reference and Instruction in 2008, and promoted to Associate Professor in 2017. I currently report to the Dean of Library Services as the Special Projects and Engineering Librarian.
