Biography

Dr. Bryant grew up in Fayetteville, NC and attended Westover Senior High School. He received his BS (1985), MS (1987), and Ph.D. (1993) degrees from NC State University. While pursuing the Ph.D. part-time, he also worked as an Adjunct Instructor in Computer Science at NC State. From 1993 to 1995, Dr. Bryant worked as a Research Associate in the Computer Science Department at the University of Maryland – College Park. He joined the faculty at NC A&T in 1995 as an Assistant Professor for three years before leaving academia to pursue a career as a consultant and software developer. He returned to the Computer Science Department at NC A&T in 2007 where he now serves as an Associate Professor, Undergraduate Coordinator, and Assistant Department.
