Dr. Mark L. Burkey is Professor of Economics. He is a Regional Scientist/Microeconomic Theorist who specializes in spatial modeling. He was awarded the Outstanding Teacher of the Year Award for the Deese College of Business and Economics in 2019-2020 and 2020-2021.
