Dr. Scott H. Harrison is a faculty member within the Department of Biology at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University who works in areas of microbiology, computational biology, genetics, and biomedical research. Dr. Harrison has undergraduate degrees in Computer Science and Microbiology and a doctoral degree in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics from Michigan State University, as well as postdoctoral experience and training in areas of bacterial genomics, systematics, and cancer proteomics. Much of Dr. Harrison's work in biological data analysis centers upon evaluations of pathway networks and phenotypic associations, with a goal to increase the speed and frequency by which computational analysis interfaces with experimental and biomedical investigation.
