Biography

Prof. Iyer has been responsible for the initiation and development of NCA&TSU’s state of the art Molecular Beam Epitaxy (MBE) Laboratory and associated academic/research programs. She was also the Director of the Center of Excellence for Battlefield Capability Enhancements, with focus on developing and demonstrating novel materials, that advance the state-of-the-art in flexible electronics, as well as for environmentally-stable, organic/inorganic semiconductors leading to luminescent devices for flexible displays. Current research work is on the MBE materials growth & development of GaAsSb(N) nanowire based photodetectors in the SWIR region.
