Biography
Dr. Gaire is Assistant Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Before joining NCA&T, he was postdoctoral scholar at the Backman Laboratory, Department of Biomedical Engineering at Northwestern University, Evanston, IL, from 2021 to 2022. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University at Buffalo, Buffalo, NY, in 2021; his M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, ND, in 2017; and a Bachelor's in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Purbanchal University, Nepal, in 2007. Dr. Gaire's research expertise is in AI-based image processing and analysis for various application areas, including biomedical imaging, single-molecule localization microscopy, and autonomy.
