Biography

Dr. Elbayoumi is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics & Statistics at North Carolina A&T State University. He earned his Ph.D. in Statistics from Western Michigan University in June 2013 and has previously held faculty positions at Oklahoma State University and Indiana University.

His research focuses on developing robust nonparametric estimation methods, advancing statistical inference for branching processes, and applying machine learning and time series analysis to real-world problems. He also works on modeling spatial datasets to uncover insights into complex biological and environmental phenomena. His recent work includes publications in peer-reviewed journals and collaborations with interdisciplinary teams to tackle challenges in public health and education.

Dr. Elbayoumi is dedicated to advancing statistical education, mentoring students, and preparing the next generation of leaders in statistics and data science.
