Biography

Dr. Niu received his Ph.D. in Biomedical Science from the The Ohio State University. As a molecular virologist, Dr. Niu’s research mainly focuses on emerging animal viruses, including molecular epidemiology, viral pathogenesis, interspecies transmission of viruses, diagnostics development, and vaccine formulation. His research has been published in the Journal of Virology, Cell & Bioscience, Veterinary Microbiology, Transboundary and emerging diseases, BMC veterinary research, Archives of Virology, Journal of virological methods, Viruses.
