Biography
Dr. Yaser Ahmed is an Assistant Professor of Biology at North Carolina A&T State University. His research examines the ruminant microbiome in relation to parasite control, anthelmintic resistance, and animal productivity, integrating phenotypic measures with molecular approaches to gain a comprehensive understanding. He teaches microbiology, physiology, and immunology, and is dedicated to mentorship, experiential learning, and advancing sustainable strategies that improve animal health and strengthen food security.
