Abstract

A current challenge in tropical cyclone research is to improve our understanding of TC formation and intensification by studying TC interactions with environmental flows. A coupled, advanced global multiscale modeling and concurrent visualization system (CAMVis) shows potential for such studies, especially with the integration of StreamPack - a quasi-3D streamline package. © 2013 IEEE.
