Abstract
The ongoing effects of COVID-19 have disrupted day-to-day living and many aspects of individuals’ behaviors. The first 12 months post-quarantine changed how people shopped, how they handled their groceries, changes to their diets, changes to personal habits such as exercise or social habits, food choices, food availability, and food security. The purpose of this study is to understand the changes in dietary and hygienic habits of North Carolina residents during the first 12 months post-quarantine. The questions in the survey were sourced from two previous surveys of adults in the US with the aim of comparing the responses from residents of North Carolina against their statistics.
