Abstract

We demonstrate the simultaneous and independent spatiotemporal control of optical fields on nanometer length and femtosecond time scales, enabled by the intrinsic adiabatic and mode-matched surface plasmon polariton nanofocusing ability of 3D tapered Au tips, in combination with femtosecond pulse shaping using MIIPS. © 2011 OSA.
