Abstract
Supply chain management depends on multi-disciplinary coordination across all functions and that coordination must span across the internal/external boundary. The need for extensive coordination has led to a keen interest in supply chain integration among academics and practitioners. Over the last few decades, global supply chains have evolved and adapted to an array of factors which have added complexity and have interfered with integration efforts. Risk management, sustainability, and information security are among the major trends that have altered the supply chain landscape. Resilience has also come to the forefront as a means to address supply chain risk.
