N2 - This study, as a preliminary study to a larger study about food systems, was undertaken to determine if and to what extent food entrepreneurs were different from non food entrepreneurs. Food entrepreneurs (farmers, food processors, food distributors, wholesale, retail, and eating and drinking business owners) face some risks that non food entrepreneurs do not. This study shows that food entrepreneurs may be a little different, but are, by and large, very similar to their non food counterparts.
