Abstract

This paper demonstrates a microwave imaging experiment using a Quasi-Conformal Transformation Optics Modified 3D Spherical Luneburg lens. The 3D modified Luneburg lens has a diameter of 60 mm and a maximum directivity of 17 dBi at 18 GHz. The single-frequency imaging experiment through full-wave simulation demonstrates the potential of using a Modified Luneburg Lens for imaging applications.
