Abstract

The recycling of composite materials containing mineral particles represents great technological challenges in waste management in the industry. Several polystyrene-mineral composites were prepared and their morphological and processing properties were studied with respect to the processing conditions and mineral loadings. The results show that the processing difficulty increases as the volume fraction of the minerals increases.
