Abstract

Nano to sub-micron fibers of ruthenium doped titanium dioxide/ poly(vinylacetate) hybrid have been prepared by electrospinning method. Pure ceramic metal oxide fibers were obtained by high temperature calcination of the organic-inorganic hybrid fibers. It is observed that the surface morphology and crystallinity of the fibers depend on the calcination temperature and ruthenium content. © 2004 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
