Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingConference contribution

Abstract

In this communication we will discuss the design of front end lectures in the areas of Minority Health, and Environmental and Occupational health. The lectures exploit the full potential of information technology. We will also discuss technology and collaboration issues that would lead to a comprehensive set of lectures that will be integrated in health education curriculum. The lectures will be developed by a global network of scientists and educators. These "virtual faculty members" are from several disciplines and educational backgrounds, including public health, sociology, psychology, language, computer science, information technology, mathematics, statistics, physical and life sciences.
