Abstract
Integration of molecular pairs known to perform upconversion via triplet-triplet annihilation into plasmonic nano-gap cavities resulted in up to 45-fold emission brightness enhancement. Cavity resonance tuning revealed absorption enhancement to be the primary operative mechanism.
