Ava Hajian is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Information Systems & Analytics at North Carolina A&T State University, Deese College of Business and Economics. She holds a Ph.D. in Information Systems – Data Science from the University of North Texas. Her research and teaching focus on business analytics and information systems. Ava has published her work in peer-reviewed journals and actively collaborates within and across departments to promote interdisciplinary approaches, bringing applied perspectives to the field of BISA. She employs a variety of teaching philosophies to address diverse student learning styles, with an emphasis on High-Impact Practices (HIPs). These evidence-based strategies provide significant educational benefits and foster meaningful learning experiences for students.
